Ingredients
- 1 to 2 Tbs Margarine
- 1/2 cup Uncle Ben's Long Grain Rice
- 1/4 cup Orzo
- 1 can College Inn Chicken Broth
Preparation
Step 1
Use the 2 Quart pan with cover.
Open chicken broth can to have ready.
Melt margarine over med-low heat.
Add orzo and fry until light brown, stirring frequently (once browning starts will cook quickly).
As soon as orzo is lightly browned, add almost all of chicken broth. Save a little to use later.
Turn burner to high and bring broth to a boil.
Add the Uncle Ben's rice, cover, and reduce heat to a simmer (burner setting between #1 and #2)
Let simmer for 20 minutes and remove from heat.
Let stand for another 5 minutes or so then uncover and stir.
