Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
  • sea salt to taste
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • white pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Melt butter in a medium-low sauce pan over medium heat.

2. Whisk in flour, mustard, and salt.

3. Gradually stir in milk, whisking constantly.

4. Stir until thick. Add cheese and stir until melted. Pour over prepared vegetables and serve.
