Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 1/2 cup dates
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp boiling water
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup allspice or nutmeg

Put dates, soda and boiling water together to soften the dates.
Use cookie method adding date mixture last
Bake 350 for 8-9 minutes
