Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1.5 cups mixed vegetables
  • 1 pack of chicken (tenders), cooked
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • Crust:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 1/3 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

bake chicken with 1 can cream of condensed soup mixed with 1/2 cup water till done (internal temperature of 165)

For crust:
mix flour and shortening with pastry blender
add milk and mix with fork
divide dough in half
roll one half out onto a floured surface
line deep pie plate with dough
bake for 15 minutes on 400

For filling:
cook 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup and milk on medium heat, mix well
add mixed vegetables
dice cooked chicken and add to filling mixture, stir occasionally
