Ingredients
- 1 pint canned tomato sauce
- Umper
- 2 tbs oil or crisco
- 2 heaping tbs flour
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- salt
- Cook 1/2 cup barley - separate Drain
Preparation
Step 1
Fill pan with water - about 1 quart
Make a thickening agent (umper)
Add to tomato mixture
add barley to soup
