Ingredients

  • 3 T butter
  • 1 med onion chopped
  • 4 oz can chopped green chiles
  • 1 large green pepper chopped
  • 8 oz can taco sauce
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 T chili powder
  • 1/2 t cumin
  • 4 cans vegetarian pinto beans

Preparation

Step 1

In a small skillet melt butter and saute onion, chiles, and green pepper until onions are clear.

In a large pot, mix all ingredients together. Bring to a boil, then simmer for one hour. Serve with cornbread or crackers.
