Vietnamese Style Chicken

A recipe given to me from a friend. Pretty easy and cheap to make and packs a good deal of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds diced chicken
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 4-6 whole garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Preparation

Step 1

Place vegetable oil in a medium saucepan and add chicken and cook on high. Cook until chicken is browned. Add soy sauce and vinegar to sauce pan and reduce heat to medium low. Add garlic. Crush the bay leaf and add. Simmer for 2 hours turning occasionally.
