CHICKEN BURGERS WITH SWEET DIJON GLAZE
Got this recipe from a Fresh Juice magazine.. first issue. Tried them and they were very good.. and very good for you !!

Ingredients
- GLAZE:
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 lb ground chicken
- Mix all ingredients. Form 4 burgers.
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- Melt butter in skillet. Whisk in sugar and honey. Cook till sugar is dissolved and starting to foam - about 2 minutes. Remove from heat - whisk in mustard and vinegar. Cool completely.
Preparation
Step 1
Grill burgers over medium heat for 7 minutes. Turn. Brush cooked side with glaze. Cook another 7-8 minutes till 165 degrees inside. Brush glaze over both sides and serve in fresh buns.
