Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 C softened butter
  • 1/2 C 10 x sugar
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 1/4 C flour
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 3/4 C finely chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, sugar & vanilla in lg bowl.
Combine flour, salt & nuts together.
Slowly add dry ingredients to large bowl, mixing after each addition.
Mix until dough holds into 1" balls.
Place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400* until set but not brown, 10-12 mins.
Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
Cool & roll in sugar again.
