Spiced Nuts

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups mixed nuts-walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Heat nuts in dry skillet, stir frequently until begin to toast, about 4 mins

Set nuts aside in bowl

Add rest of ingred to pan; stir til glaze forms, about 1 min

Return nuts to skillet & mix with glaze

Cook 1-2 mins until nuts are glazed & golden brown

Transfer to baking sheet lined with foil, separate pieces, cool til hardened, about 10 mins

Store in airtight container
