Almond Praline Maple - G F

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup slivered almonds-(not nec to toast first)
  • OPT: add 1/16 tsp cayenne pepper to maple syrup (not in orig recipe)

Preparation

Step 1

Bring the maple syrup to a boil, boil for 1 minute

Add the almonds & stir constantly until the maple syrup has completely crystallized onto the almonds & the almonds appear completely dry.

Pour onto a baking sheet to let cool

Store in an airtight container for up to 5 weeks
