Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 1/2 cup cold butter cubed
- 3 cup canned cherry pie filling, about 1 1/2 cans
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 4- 5 t whole milk
- 1/4 t almond extract

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 13X9 inch pan with foil, extending over sides. Lightly grease foil. Pulse flour, sugar, salt in processor. Add butter cubes,pulse till crumbly. Reserve 1 cup of flour mixture. Press the rest of flour mixture onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake in prepared oven until lightly browned, 25-30 min. Spread cherry pie filling over crust. Toss reserved flour mixture with pecans. Sprinkle mixture over cheer filling. Bake in preheated oven 40 minutes until golden brown. Cool on rack for an hour. Lift from pan b y foil sides. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and almond extract. Drizzle . Cut into bars.
