Ingredients

  • 2 (9 inch) pie crusts
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 5 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Preparation

Step 1

1 preheat oven to 425.

2 Stir dry ingredients together.

3 Sprinkle peaches with lemon juice and almond extract.

4 Add dry ingredients and toss gently to mix.

5 Dump into pastry lined 9" pie pan, dot with butter and add top crust.

6 Cut vent holes.

7 Bake until bubbles and crust is browned.

8 About 35-45 minutes.
