Tender BBQ Country Style Spare Ribs

Boil extra ribs to make bean soup one day and the bbq ribs the next day. Just store the extra ribs in a foil lined covered casserole dish in the refrigerator. When ready to bake, just remove from frige, slather with bbq sauce, recover & bake for one hour.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds country style pork ribs
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 cup barbeque sauce

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place ribs in a large pot with enough water to cover by 1 inch. Season with garlic powder, black pepper and Lawrey's. Bring water to a boil, and cook ribs until tender, about 1 hour.
2. Preheat oven to 325*F.
3. Remove ribs from pot, and place them in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour barbeque sauce over ribs. Cover dish with aluminum foil, and bake in the preheated oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours turning and basting them in bbq sauce about half way through.
