Ingredients
- 5 large red delicious/gala/or fuji apples, (or a mixture of all of them)
- peeled, cored and sliced thinly
- Cinnamon
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
Preparation
Step 1
Make pie crust, one at a time. Layer apple slices into pie crust, every two apples, cover with cinnamon and sugar until you have a big mound. Before putting on the top crust, put dabs of butter of apples. Then put crust on top and crimp edges.
Bake at 375 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until top crust if lightly golden brown.
Cook’s Tip: when entering pie tasting contest, serve warm to judges
