Ingredients

  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2-3 Asian chilies
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 whole chicken on the bone
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 cups water
  • Oregano, salt, paprika and turmeric to taste

Step 1

In a large pot, stir fry the onion, garlic and chilies in the sesame oil. Once the vegetables start to brown, add the chicken to the mix. Stir fry the chicken until it is pale pink. Add water and broth, and add in the seasonings. Let the soup come to a boil, and then set it to simmer for 30 minutes.
