Ingredients
- 8 oz. elbow macaroni, cooked
- 1 (8 oz.) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup homemade soft, coarse bread crumbs, made from French bread lightly toasted
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Stir together first 5 ingredients in a lightly greased broiler-proof 2-quart baking dish.
Bake 22 to 25 minutes, or until bubbly. Set oven to broil. Stir together breadcrumbs and butter; sprinkle over casserole. Broil 5 1/2 inches from heat for 45 seconds to 1 minute, or until lightly browned.
