Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 pound beef brisket
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 12 oz beer
  • Open Pit BBQ Sauce

Step 1

Trim fat from brisket
Season with salt and pepper. Place meat in 9 x 13 baking dish and cover with onion slices. Mix 1/4 cup BBQ sauce with ber and pour over beef. Add 1 clove of garlic minced. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 for 3 to 3-1/2 hours until fork tender. Cool, drain most fluid off. Slice meat thin after it has colled (cut across grain). Pour generous amount of BBQ sauce over sliced meat and cook uncovered for 30 minutes at 350. Baste occasionally while cooking Serve on buns. Coleslaw good with this.
