Scalloped Potatoes with Chicken Broth

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs.potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/8 in.thick
  • 1 1/4 cups grated Gruyere cheese (4 oz.)
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter cut into small pieces
  • 4 cans chicken broth

Preparation

Step 1

Toss potatoes with 1/2 cheese and flour

Arrange potatoes in 3 layers in 9x13 " buttered baking dish

Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese and bits of butter between each layer. Pour chicken broth over all

Bake 350 degrees for 10/2 hr.
