  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ((12oz) can evaporate milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla



Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 13x9 baking pan.

Sift flour and baking powder together and set aside.

Cream butter and 1 cup sugar together until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well..Add flour mixture to butter mixture 2Tbsp. at a time, until well mixed. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.Cool cake then pierce cake many times with fork or skewer. Combine the 1/2 and 1/2, condensed and evaporated milks together and then pour over the cooled cake. Milks will be absorbed by cake.

Whip cream , confectioners sugar and vanilla together until thick. Spread over the top of the cake. Keep cake in refrigerator
