Ingredients
- 1 EGG, SLIGHTLY BEATEN
- 5 T. KETCHUP, DIVIDED
- 2 T MUSTARD
- 1/2 C DRY BREAD CRUMBS
- 2 T. ONION SOUP MIX
- 1/4 t SALT
- 1/4 t PEPPER
- 1 POUND GROUND BEEF
- 1/4 C SUGAR
- 2 T. BROWN SUGAR
- 2 T. CIDER VINEGAR
Preparation
Step 1
IN LARGE BOWL, MIX EGG, 2 T. KETCHUP, MUSTARD, BREAD CRUMBS, DRY SOUP MIX, SALT AND PEPPER. CRUMBLE IN BEEF AND MIX WELL.
PLACE IN SHALLOW 1 QT MICROWAVE SAFE BAKING DISH. MICROWAVE ON HIGH FOR 10-12 MINUTES OR UNTIL THE MEAT IS NO LONGER PINK AND A MEAT THRMOMETER READS 160*. DRAIN.
MEANWHILE, IN A SMALL BOWL, COMBINE THE SUGARS, VINEGAR AND REMAINING KETCHUP. DRIZZLE OVER MEAT. COVER AND MICROWAVE ON HIGH FOR 2-3 MINUTESLONGER.
LET STAND 10 MINUTES BEFORE SLICING.
