Basic Pizza Dough

Makes 1 10 inch crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • flour for dusting
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 6 tablespoons lukewarm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Sift flour and salt into a large bowl. Add yeast. Pour in water & olive oil. Mix into a dough. Knead for 5 minutes then let "prove" until doubled in size.

Punch the air out from the dough then knead lightly. Roll it out on a lightly floured surface.

Top and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
