Spicy Baked Tofu

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds super firm organic tofu
  • Olive oil
  • Smoked paprika
  • Organic chipotle powder
  • Black Hawaiian or smoked alder salt
  • Organic thyme and sage
  • Organic lemon
  • Garlic
  • (Sesame oil if desired)
  • Freshly ground pepper (we mix with dried organic papaya seeds)

Preparation

Step 1

Drain tofu, (press if needed)
Pour olive oil and all spices, garlic, lemon, tamari into roasting pan
Cut tofu into 1/2 inch planks and lay in pan
Flip them over in a bit, so both sides are coated
Bake for 20 minutes at 425F

Serve with tamari, lemon, or spicy veganaise
