Chocolate Kaluha Cake
This cake can be changed up by using different liquors and cake mixes an pudding to compliment the liquor.
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 6oz. box instant chocolate pudding
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup kaluha, divided
- 1/2 cup + 2 TBLS. juice or coffee
- 1 tsp. extract/ coffee
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Beat first 4 ingredients plus 3/4 cup of the kahula, 1/2 cup of the juice or coffee, and extract. Bake in well greased and floured bundt pan at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Do not remove from pan...then combine 1/4 cup of kahula, 2 tsps. of juice or coffee and 1 cup powdered sugar.
Poke holes in cake with the handle of a wooden spoon and pour mixture over cake filling the holes.
Let sit for at least 2 hours before turning out onto a plate to cut and serve.
