Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
- 1 c. coconut, flaked
- 1 c. walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt. Add brown sugar, shortening, eggs, and vanilla. Beat well. Stir in oats, coconut, and walnuts. Roll dough into small balls. Dip tops in sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
