Ingredients

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • 2 In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix and cold water until soft dough forms. Press evenly in bottom of pan.
  • 3 Spread beans over crust. In small bowl, stir together rice and 1/2 cup salsa. Spread evenly over beans. Top with cheese.
  • 4 Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown. Top with lettuce, tomato and olives. Serve with additional salsa and sour cream.

Quick and easy, but a little bland. I used ground beef and added black beans. Next time some chilies or spicier salsa might give it a little zing.

I received this recipe in my email yesterday and was anxious to try it. It sounded good and the reviews rated it highly.
Well, we were VERY disappointed in it! The bottom crust was dry and tasteless, and despite adding extra spices and using medium salsa, it was VERY bland.
I wanted to like it but I won't be trying it again or recommending it.
