Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- pinch salt
- 1 lb. gumdrops, chopped
- 1 cup sultana raisins
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp lemon extract
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour, baking powder and salt, reserving 1/2 cup flour for gumdrops and raisins, then coat the gumdrops and rasins with 1/2 cup of flour and set aside. Cream butter and sugar; then add beaten eggs. Add flour mixture and milk alternatively. Add flavorings last. Fold in gumdrops and raisins mixture. pour in well greased and floured bundt pan. Tap out excess flour. Bake 325 for 1 1/2 hours
