Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 2 C. hot water
  • 1/4 C. Heinz 57 sauce
  • 1 (1 lb.) can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 C. uncooked elbow macaroni

Directions

Brown beef and onion. Drain off excess fat. Stir in water, Heinz sauce, tomatoes, sugar, salt, and pepper. Add macaroni, mix well. bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until macaroni is tender. Garnish with minced parsley.
