Peanut Butter Frosted Brownies Recipe 1 Picture

  • 2 eggs 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • frosting
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3 teaspoons milk, half & half, or heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Line an 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan with nonstick foil and spray well with cooking spray.
In a small sauce pan melt butter. Stir in cocoa powder and vanilla. Pour mixture into a large bowl. Mix in sugars, eggs, salt and flour. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
In a medium bowl mix together frosting ingredients. Mix until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies. Cut into bars and serve. Store in airtight container at room temperature.
