Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 package Onion Soup Mix
  • 14.5 oz can sauerkraut (undrained)
  • 2 handfuls shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 recipe Soft Dinner Rolls

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown hamburger in skillet. Drain grease from pan.
2. Add soup mix to hamburger and mix until all of the hamburger is coated.
3. Add sauerkraut and cheese and stir well
4. Weigh and roll out 2 oz of dough. Put 2 large heaping spoonfuls of hamburger in center of dough. Cover with dough and make into a ball. Place on baking sheet lined with mat.
5. Let rise 30 minutes.
6. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Makes enough for 8 bierocks and 9 (1.4 oz) rolls
