Steamed Salmon

*Change it up: 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. ground white pepper 2 scallions cut into 4 inch pieces 4 slices ginger 1 lemon 2 tsp. sesame oil ( 2 filets 6 to 8 ounces)
Use these seasonings for lobster, scallop, shrimp just omit soy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4- 6 ounce salmon fillets with skin about 1" thick

Preparation

Step 1

Cover and steam over moderate heat until just cooked through about 8 minutes




*Drizzle soy sauce, salt & pepper over salmon, sprinkle with scallions and ginger, cut lemon 1/2 crosswise. Cut 1/2 a lemon into 4 slices put on fish, juice remaining lemon and drizzle on fish. Steam 8 to 10 minutes test for doneness it should flake, if not an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Drizzle with sesame oil.
