Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter, soft
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven 325*
Grease 13 x 9 inch pan
Beat butter and brown sugar in a large bowl on high speed, until creamy. Add flour, eggs, vanilla, baking soda and mix well. Stir in oats. Reserve 1/3 of oat mixture. Press remaining mixture firmly into the pan.
Heat chocolate and sweetened condensed milk and 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan over medium heat, stirring continuously, until chocolate is melted. Add nuts, spread over oat mixture in baking pan. Sprinkle with reserved oat mixture. Bake 35 to 40 minutes until top and edges are golden brown. Cool.
