Ingredients
- 1 box german chocolate cake mix
- 1 c chopped nuts
- 1/3 c evaporated milk
- 3/4 c butter
- 14 oz pkg caramels
- 1/3 c evaporated milk
- 1 c chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
Melt caramels and 1/3 c milk over double boiler. Keep warm. Mix cake with spoon, add butter, nuts and 1/3 c milk. Press 1/2 of batter into 13x9 in pan. Bake 350, 6 min. Remove from oven. Sprinkle choc chips over all. Pour caramel over all. Crumble remaining batter over all. Bake another 16 min. Cool before cutting.
