Ingredients

  • 1 can of garbanzo beans, drained & rinsed
  • 1/2 cup kalamata olives, pitted
  • 1 clove garlic
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • dash of hot pepper flakes (to your liking)
  • 3 Tbls. of extra virgin olive oil. You may have to add more to get the consistency you want.

Step 1

Place all ingredients in food processor and puree. Add extra oil as needed until you have a smooth and thick paste.

Good with cabatta bread or crackers
