Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk ( can milk )
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 17 oz. can fruit cocktail, undrained
Preparation
Step 1
Beat together eggs, milk, sugar, salt baking soda and flour. Stir in fruit cocktail. Pour into greased and floured 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes then turn out onto serving tray or plate. spoon glaze over top of cake. Serve warm or cold.
Glaze:
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1/3 cup margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Cook all ingredients for 10 minutes and pour over warm cake.
