Ingredients

  • 2/3 C Butter or Margarine
  • 1/2 C Flour
  • 7 C Milk
  • 4 Large baking potatoes (peel, boil, cool, cube) 4 Cups (or bake, peel, cool, cube)
  • 4 Green Onions chopped
  • 12 Bacon Slices (cooked & crumbled) u can use less
  • 1 1/4 C shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 C Sour Cream
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In large kettle or Dutch Oven, melt butter.
Stir in flour. Heat and stir until smooth.
Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.

Add potatoes and onions.
Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat, simmer 10 min.
Add remaining ingredients and stir until cheese is melted.
Serve immediately.

Makes 8-10 servings
