Coffee Butter Frosting
Frosts two 9-in cake layers or one 13x9 cake
- 6 T butter
- 1 lb powdered sugar
- 1/4 about 1/4 c brewed coffee
- 1 1/2 t vanilla
In mixer bowl cream butter, gradually add about half the sugar, blending well. Beat in 2 T of coffee and vanilla. Gradually blend in remaining sugar. Add enough coffee to make spreading consistency.
