4 minute butter frosting

Ingredients

• 1 cup soft butter
• pinch of salt
• 3 cups sifted imperial powdered sugar
• 1/4 cup milk or cream
• 1.5 teaspoons vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream thoroughly butter, salt and 1 cup of the sugar until light and fluffy. add remaining sugar and milk alternately, blending until smooth and spreading consistency. add vanilla. Fills and frosts top and sides of two 9" layers
