Homemade Garlic Naan
We loved these so much in Macedonia at the Indian Restaurant Bombay, so I had to figure out how to make them. These are just as good!!!

Ingredients
- 1 pkg active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tsp salt
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Preparation
Step 1
- dissolve yeast in water. let stand until frothy, about ten minutes.
- stir in sugar, milk, eggs, and salt.
- add flour until dough spins freely in bowl.
- knead until smooth. place in an oiled bowl, cover with damp cloth, and let rise until doubled, about an hour.
- punch down the dough and knead in the garlic. pinch off golf-ball size handfuls and let rise again until doubled, about 30 minutes.
-Flatten with rolling pin
- cook on a grill or frying pan, buttering sides while cooking.
