Ham Cheddar Biscuits

For biscuits to bake properly, bake them in the center of the oven. Be sure to use a hot oven (425 - 450 degrees) and a baking time of 10-12 minutes for standard-size biscuits. Insulated baking sheets will not allow the bottom of biscuits to brown like regular baking sheets do.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups biscuit/baking mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped fully cooked ham

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, combine the biscuit mix and milk just until moistened. Stir in the cheese and ham. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
