Flavored Butter for Roxie's Fried Rice ****

I keep this in the freezer for a quick batch of fried rice any time.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 1 lg shallot
  • 1 T gr onion

Preparation

Step 1

1- Bring butter and margarine to room temperature.
2- Mince or chop garlic, shallot and green onion.
3- Mix all of the ingredients together.
4- Line baking sheet with wax paper or parchment. Using a small ice cream scoop or teaspoon, drop mixture onto baking sheet. Freeze butter mounds til solid(about 1 hour). Store in zip loc bag.
5- Use 2-3 mounds to flavor rice.
