Ingredients

  • Egg Mixture:
  • dash salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 T Vanilla
  • 2 T Sugar
  • 1 c Milk
  • 8 lg Eggs
  • 2 c Half and Half
  • 1 loaf French Bread
  • Praline Topping:
  • 1/2 lb Butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 c Brown sugar
  • 1 c Chopped Pecans
  • 2 T Corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Cut bread into squares, arrange in buttered 9X13 casserole dish. Blend Egg Mixture but not bubbly. Cover with foil and refridgerate over night. Preheat oven 350' Spread Praline Topping over egg mixture. Bake 40 min. until puffed and lightly golden.
Praline Topping: Combine all ingredients and blend well. Spread over egg mixture.
