Ingredients
- 1 2/3 dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter cut into pieces
- 2 tbs water
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, optional

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 325. Grease 8"square pan. Set aside 1/3 cup chocolate chips
2. heat 1 1/3 cups chocolate chips, sugar, butter, and water in small pan, stirring constantly over low heat until chocolateand butter melted.
3. Pour into medium bowl. Stir in eggs, one at a time, with wire whisk until well blended.stir in vanilla extract then flour and salt.. Stir well. Stir in remaining chips and nuts. Pour into prepared pans
4. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until wooden toothpicks inserted in center comes out slightly sticky. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut intobars
