Reese's Peanut Butter Poke Cake
By srumbel
WARNING WARNING! You will have no self control when you make this dessert. This is by far one of the best cakes that I have ever made! In the middle is hot fudge, followed by an amazing peanut butter layer, then it's topped off with whipping cream. Sprinkled with peanut butter cups and drizzled with hot fudge. Oh My!

Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- Eggs, oil and water for the cake
- 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup of peanut butter (I like to use creamy)
- 1 (12-ounce) tub cool whip, divided
- 1 jar of hot fudge, divided
- 8 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, crumbled
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare and bake your chocolate cake following the instructions on the back of the cake mix box. When your cake is done cooking, take it out of the oven and poke it all over with a fork in the cake.
Microwave your hot fudge and pour 3/4 of the jar on top of the cake so it will soak into the cake.
Combine cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl or stand mixer and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Add peanut butter and continue mixing until thoroughly incorporated. Add half of the cool whip and continue mixing until it is smooth.
Spread peanut butter mixture evenly over cake. Cover and refrigerate until cool.
Next spread remaining cool whip over peanut butter mixture. Drizzle chocolate sauce over top then sprinkle it with the crumbled Peanut Butter Cups. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
