Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground chuck
- 1 (1 oz) pkg ranch dressing mix
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 6 slices Colby Jack cheese
- 6 kaiser rolls, halved
- 6 Tbsp ranch salad dressing
- 1-1/2 c alfalfa sprouts
- 1/2 c french fried onions
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 2 ripe avocados, pitted, peeled, and sliced
- 6 leaves green leaf lettuce
Preparation
Step 1
Spray grill with nonstick non-flammable cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (350º to 400º)
In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, dressing mix, and pepper. Divide mixture into 6 equal portions; shape each portion into a 5-inch patty.
Grill patties, covered with grill lid, for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until desired degree on doneness. Top each patty with one slice of cheese. Grill rolls, cut sides down for 1 to 2 minutes, or until toasted.
Spread 1 tbsp. ranch dressing over bottom halves of rolls. Top with 1/4 cup sprouts, patties, fried onions, tomato, avocado, and lettuce. Cover with roll tops. Serve immediately.
