Roll Out Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 C butter
• 1 C sugar
• 1 lg egg
• 1 t vanilla
• 2 t baking powder
• 3 C flour

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400*.
In a lg bowl beat ( cream)!butter & sugar with mixer.
Add egg & vanilla.
Add baking powder & flour, 1 C at a time; mixing after each.
Dough will be stiff.
Blend last four in by hand.
Do not chill dough.
Divide into 2 balls.
On floured surface roll dough 1/8" thick.
Bake cookies on ungreased sheet on to rack for 6- 12 mins depending on size, until lightly browned.
