Ingredients
- 3 lbs beef short ribs
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 3-4 tbsp canned, sliced jalapeno peppers, drained
- 2 tsp bottled minced garlic
- 1 tsp dry mustard
Preparation
Step 1
Cut ribs into serving size pieces
Mix black pepper and salt in bowl and rub onto ribs
In a small sauce pan, stir together ketchup, molasses, jalapeno peppers, garlic and mustard. Stir over low heat for 10 minutes
Coat grill rack with non-stick spray. Heat rack to medium indirect heat.
Place meat on grill rack, cover and grill for 1 - 1.5 hours or until ribs are tender
about 10 minutes prior to ribs being done, brush generously with sauce and grill for 10 minutes or until ribs are glazed in nature.
