Pulled Pork Sandwiches

By

This is the combination of a couple of recipes. We have a smoker, so we actually smoked our pork for 4 hours after putting on the rub, but it certainly isn't necessary. Incredible!! This makes enough for a party. Cut it down for family night, or make and freeze. I haven't done it, but I bet it would work well.

Preparation

Step 1

Combine ingredients for the rub. Rub all over pork butt and marinade for at least 30 minutes or overnight. Transfer to slow cooker.

Mix ingredients for sauce. Pour over pork. Reserve any liquid from sauce that won't fit in slow cooker. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

Cool and shred pork. Remove juices from slow cooker. Return meat and pour reserved sauce plus about half of cooking broth. Heat through.

Serve on buns with coleslaw and my Daddy's BBQ sauce. Oh you don't have that recipe.....bummer for you. OK, BBQ sauce of your choice. :)
