Ingredients
- 3 sticks butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3-1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 12 oz coconut
- 12 oz caramel
- 6 tblsp cream

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350*
Beat together the butter and sugar till fluffy, then add vanilla. Add the flour and salt. May need 1 tblsp water to make rolling easier. With the coconut in one bowl, the eggs in another bowl, roll the dough into 1-1/2 " balls. The roll into the egg and then the coconut. Place onto cookie sheet and press thumbprint. Bake for 10 minutes, then repress a thumbprint. Bake for an additional 9-10 minutes. Cool. Melt caramel with cream. Pour a spoonful and prickle with fllaky sea salt.
