Ingredients
- 9 1/2 inch thick pork chops
- salt and pepper
- italian seasoning
- 1 cup grated parmesan
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 2 tbs butter
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
Pat the pork chops dry and trim any excess fat
sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper and Italian seasoning.
dredge each pork chop in parmesan cheese.
Heat the oil and butter in a frying pan
Sear each side of the pork chops in the pan; about 3 minutes per side.
Transfer to a greased casserole dish.
Spread the tomato sauce over the tops of each pork chop
sprinkle with leftover parmesan cheese, mozzarella and Italian Seasoning.
Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly
